FAQ's
What
is Hypnotherapy? Hypnotherapy
is the removal of unwanted behaviors or habits and the establishment of
new and positive goals. This is accomplished by the therapist
guiding the client into a relaxed state of consciousness. At this
conscious level, the client's mind will be ready to permanently let go
of the issues it no longer needs. After the session concludes, the
client will remember everything discussed with the therapist. The
client's body will feel nicely rested while the mind will be clear and
focused. Is
hypnosis a type of sleep? Hypnosis
is a relaxed and focused state of consciousness (you are awake). A
sleep state is never required because in a sleep state the mind is not
at the optimum level of awareness for positive changes to occur.
The client is always awake and feeling relaxed, calm and peaceful.
The therapist will prevent the client from shifting into a sleep state
in order to maintain the appropriate level of hypnosis. Will
I need several sessions? Every
person accepts hypnosis differently. You might achieve the proper
level of hypnosis quickly on the first session and accomplish all of
your goals. Sometimes the best levels of hypnosis, for a
particular goal, will take several sessions. The degree of
dedication and the level of desire to eliminate the habit, by the
client, has the greatest influence on the number of sessions
needed. Like every important value in life-- "How bad do you want
it?" will determine your level of success. Where
will my session take place? Your
session will be either on site, at the office, your home or the
hypnotherapy office. You will discuss the best place to do this
with your hypnotherapist before your appointment is made. How
much does it cost? Click
